What we do

Heat that holds when winter tests it.

Furnaces, boilers, and heat pumps, installed and repaired so your home or business stays warm exactly when it matters most, for homes and businesses across eastern Massachusetts.

  • Furnaces
  • Boilers
  • Heat pumps

The right system

Furnaces, boilers, and heat pumps, explained.

Furnaces

Heats air and pushes it through ductwork, sharing ducts with central air where you already have it. Fast to warm a space, in a home or a business.

Boilers

Heats water for radiators, baseboard, or in-floor tubing. The steady, quiet heat many older New England homes were built around.

Heat pumps

Moves heat instead of burning fuel, and heats and cools from one system. A fit for additions or any space without existing ductwork.

Our boiler stopped heating properly and we called Prime Build & Comfort. They came out, inspected everything and repaired the issue quickly. What I appreciated most was that they explained what was wrong and did not try to push unnecessary replacements. Honest company and very knowledgeable about heating systems.

Great job. I called and they came the same day and replaced my AC and furnace in one day. They even let me use a portable AC in the meantime.

FAQ

Heating questions, answered.

Furnace, boiler, or heat pump, which is right for my home?
It depends on what is already there. A furnace heats air and pushes it through ductwork, so it warms quickly and can share ducts with central air. A boiler heats water for radiators, baseboard, or in-floor tubing, the steady radiant warmth many older New England homes were built around. A heat pump moves heat instead of burning fuel and both heats and cools. The right fit depends on your existing distribution, your fuel, and your comfort goals, which we confirm on site before recommending anything.
How fast can someone come out when there is no heat?
No-heat calls jump the line, especially in the middle of a cold snap. We answer our own phone, so you are talking to someone who can actually get you on the schedule, not a call center reading a script. Most no-heat calls in our area get seen the same day or the next morning.
Do heat pumps keep up in a New England winter?
Yes. Cold-climate heat pumps use variable-speed compressors built to keep heating well below freezing, with strong efficiency at 5 degrees. Boston-area winters see only a handful of truly sub-zero nights, so a properly sized cold-climate unit carries most of the season, and systems are designed with backup heat for the coldest snaps. Correct sizing is what makes the difference.
Do you handle commercial and light-commercial heating?
Yes, we serve both homes and businesses. Commercial buildings often use rooftop package units and larger multi-zone systems or commercial boilers. Because downtime affects tenants, staff, and customers, commercial heating benefits from planned maintenance, and we tailor the approach to the building and its use.
